About The Artist

I am Odette Tisseglo, from West Africa, a country called Burkina Faso. I came to the United States when I was 12 years old and now live in Colorado. I enjoy making different things from different cultures; I try to explore other cultures and enhance diversity in the world. I genuinely believe that differences, cultures, and traditions matter. 

 

My sculptures derive from my imagination to help enhance your imagination. I use my art to create a new norm that being broken is okay. Perfection is not a vocabulary in my world, and certainly will not be seen in these sculptures. I am an artist that creates one-of-a-kind sculptures, and no sculpture will ever look the same as another. I cannot wait to continue exploring the world through sculpting.
